Muddy River

What's up with the river this morning? Is this from the mudslide that happened yesterday? Even after it rained very hard the other day it didn't become so muddy. More rain today?

I just read something that made me reflect ....

being a school principal is changing as quickly as the river the flows just outside my door.

ICE ICE Baby ... too cold .... too cold

 

Why doesn't the cold, icy water bother the ducks?    

      I love watching nature. Given the choice, I would observe it rather than being a couch potato any day!

 

 

                                                                                   

 

Ringing in 2013 on the River

The first day of 2013 would not be a great day for rafting down the river. Even the ducks are acting differently this morning. Temperatures down to 14 degrees are not common in Reno but this brings ice to the banks of the river.
